Welcome to Divine Stone Carving. The carvings found on these pages were created by Gurmit Kaur.

There is evidence that the earliest societies worked with stone. The art of stone carving is an ancient activity where stones are shaped by using hand and cheisel, it is both therapeutic and creative.

I work with stone in a variety of ways. I create hand carved figures or statues in a variety of Stones (limestone, soapstone and alabaster).

Another great passion is carving words of wisdom or inspirational poetry into stone.

As well as carving stone, I also carve fruit and create flower arrangements for weddings, birthdays and special events.
